Hellspider or Seph would know for sure, so let this be for them since we are at a technical disagreement, i am interested to know which one it is now . . .

Decima, you are correct.
The damage gained when you put points into STR is .exe based. If you want to make the Aloken's damage go up from DEX, then you need to do some exe editing.
Now if we are talking about skill damage, and if skills get damage from STR or DEX, that is CSV based. So both Bio and Decima are half correct. Skill damage for Aloken = CSVs, but for actually gaining damage from DEX or STR by putting stats in, that depends on what is programmed in the exe.

yeah ike, but we have a disagreement about which exe, the client or the server, that processes the dmg gain for the aloken, i was told by hellspider that it was the server exe, but really even b4 that i had come to my own conclusion about it, based on the fact that dmg is calculated and processed server side.
but now bio is stating that hes tested it, which now brings it back in question, not to offend bio, cus i really do not wish to insult, but i dont believe its client still, just doesnt make sense to me at all, but that doesnt mean he is wrong either.
wrong or right, i dont even care tbh, i am interested to know either way, and if it is client side, then in reality, thats a scary thought . . .

It's both. If you edit only the client exe code to make Aloken Dex, then Aloken will only show the damage go up with dex. For the actual damage calculations, it's DekaronServer.
So basically yeah, client is just visual, dekaronserver is where the actual damage is calculated.
