How to Start? 2Moons USA PServer

Hi, I am extremely interested in starting my own 2moons USA version PServer.
I can talk $$ later, right now I am just asking what it involves.

Obviously, I have to get my hands on the server files:
Questions about that: Where?
Do they patch/update as the normal game does?
If not, can I make it so they do?
This is asking, can it be made so it is the SAME game all the time, just with boosted exp/drop rate and private?

Hosting:
Do I need to pay someone to host the game?
Can I host it myself? Or would it be way to huge to do that?

Managing:
Would I act as GM? Meaning could I be able to spawn mobs or items/do GM stuff?
Would DShop items be able to be aquired?
If so, would I have to pay for them?


Basically, I am new to the whole idea, I have been doing a lot of reading up on it, but all of it seems to be for either the EU or Korean version.
Can anyone who knows how to get a 2Moons USA PServer up and running please help me!!

you can buy server files but is not cheap is cost ~6kEuro (im no remeber how muth $$$$):P

first of all

u need to ask permission from acclame to host a private server as they can easily put u in a fix cuz they got licensing rights for north america.

OR you could set up the server in some country wchiich doesnt have a dekaron official version .

running a private server means huge system reqs.unless you do that you wont have people playing in it cuz the server cap will be quite less.you can chose to act as head GM/panchayat or whatever but its tuff.it would be much better to make a 3man party(or more) and share the d-shop profits.

but first u need to get the server files and i have no idea where u can get them

So is private server running is legal if OKayed by acclaim?
and then if this is the case, would they sell me the files?

if u gonna buy Files u have to Make erm..like P.Server Team!!! and im sure some ppls will glad to help u and make ur own server

No u cant just ask acclaim if u can host private servers as acclaim "DID NOT MAKE THIS GAME" Acclaim bought permissions from Gamhi (Dekaron) the real publishers of the gmae. So u have to get permission from gamehi to buy the server files, cuz its copyright. GL with ur pserver and keep in mind it costs a lot and its a big deal.

Yo have to email GameHi and ask them. They'l tell you the price but they probably wont tell you how to set it up after u buy the files. (less Pservers keeps the server files expensive) So you will need a good team unless you really think you can do it all by your self. I suppose it could be done but you'd have to be Mika from "Heroes"

Hell, I offer to help as well. Dont know to much but sure I can learn, Or can have something to do with helping moderate it. And guys, why mention how much it is, said he not really worried bout that, lets try and be more positive about it, a US Pserver would be awesome for all of us......

I'll help for free if you want me too. I have much experience in coding. I've coded my own Runescape server, i've built hacks for CoD2 (by editing game files), i've helped a friend code in his own online game, ect. I'd be happy to help with a USA PSer because i've been waiting for one for a long *** time -.-
