Designing a Custom -help

there is a contest in some private server for design a new custom and i wanna join but i dont know how and what to do with the files so its will be not only design but with the files too.
i good in photoshop but i dont know the files part, can any one guide me how to do it? i realy want to participate in that contest and in the server forums no one answers me.

Here's a simple tutorial.

1. Download GIMP or Photoshop, download and install a .dds plugin.
2. Navigate to your Dekaron Client
3. Navigate to data
4. Navigate to share (I think)
5. Navigate to costumes
6. Pick one you want to base your mod on.
7. Make a back up! (Open the file, save as another name)
8. Now open up the dds file again (the original one not the back up) and start editing away in Photoshop
9. Save as the original with the original file name
10. Open up the client and go view the costume, it should be in place of the one you edited over.

i made the custom but when i trying to save its says too many channels to export (5)
how to fix that?

Well I use photoshop with NVIDIA plugin very easy to use and easy to save to dds.

save as "4.4.4.4 RGB 16 bpp | unsigned" works fine

i dont use any plugins for PS just do this:
Open with Gimp and save in .png
Then do what u wanna in PS save back to .png
And open with Gimp and save back to .dds (that way u save the colors to look nice)
This is how i do it winth Nvidia the colors not the same u can see the diference.Try it.
