Creating PServer just for myself

I wanna create a PServer just to run locally, on my PC only. No online, no anything, besides just me playing it. I know this may sound stupid, but I wanna do it just so I can test damages and other stuff.

I'm not sure if this has even been discussed here, but how much easier would this be rather than making it online for everyone. I mean, I don't need a database really (besides just my account if anything), registration stuff, nothing. So how much of the making process could I cut out and having this running on my PC only?

Its the same work as if you would make one thats online.
If I were you I should use silkbotter's [RELEASE]1-Click Dekaron Server!!!

You need a database. It saves all accounts, characters, drop, stast, everyting.
things you dont have to do, is patch, nice homepage. Just edit the server so everyting is like you want it, and play.

Ok, that makes sense.

Where can I get the game client though? I downloaded everything from the 1 click thread, including VMWare, but the links for the client are dead in silk's thread. Any help?

Use a client from an other server and then just change the IPs.

Was about to link that but bestfore beat me to it. The Difference client is very easy to work with, make sure your server side and client side shares are the same.
