Well the instruction on the front page most members don't even understand that so that's off topic too? i guess ^^ <--- jerk! This is ontopic because there is no other form of comunication between us and this convo benefits other members as well. How? Well our scripts go inside Kabbot on next release so i would think ppl want us to have these convos... KabBOT NEWS: So as of today I have made a few decisions regarding KabBOT.

1. The current version of KabBOT2 v1 will be the last and final version. I will no longer be working on this project.

2. This also means I will no longer be providing user support in this topic or in any other manner.

3. This also means that sometime in the near future I will be releasing the full source code, most likely in the premium section. There will be no user-support for that release period.

4. I will NOT be releasing my Commission Scripts free/pay or otherwise. You guys have more then enough tools with KabBOT to make your own very easily. So do it yourself, if you want it.

This will likely be my last post in this topic, so I want to take a moment to thank everyone here. Thanks to those who supported me, offered kind words and provided valuable feedback. KabBOT would not be what it is without all the feedback.

A special thanks to Shin for offering by far the most feedback. Finding bugs/offering suggestions and much more. Whether you realize it or not, YOU had a major influence on KabBOT and alot of it's features were inspired by you.


Maybe one day in the future you will see me back here releasing a new project. Until then, I bid you all goodbye.

I tested this many ways. At first, the scripts that came with it worked fine, but when i tried writing my own, even if it was just a small change in a default script, it would stop functioning. I know ASM and several other forms of programming, I know for a fact that it wasn't because I entered it wrong. I tried writting my own script all together, and again, it failed tremendously. Eventually it just crashed, and is now corrupted, saying that it cannot find many of the needed files to run it when I try starting it up. My OS is Win7, and I've ran it as admin every single time, except the last one, to see if that was somehow the problem. I know you're not coding for this anymore, but I want everyone else to know, that it's likely to fail on Win7 if you alter the defaults in any way. The zigzag thing worked fine, except it kept using the wrong buffs, even after I changed the file data... Now none of them work... Just and FYI to those who want a one-click bot.

There are many users of the bot using Win 7 and it works fine for them. If its not working you are doing something wrong. Period. I don't know what but showing the script you are trying to use would help. If 't uses the wrong buff its because you told it to press the wrong key. Simple as that. Not sure what you did to crash it either since the error catching code detects any script errors that could crash the bot.
And what files can it not find? No one has ever reported anything like that. Besides ocx.
Forgot to add that it sounds like your opening the text file instead of using the script editor which would be very wrong and explain all the issues your having.

bot is perfectly working fine, i even customized the skills, buffs etc and nothing went wrong. revise again ur codes, u will learn from ur mistakes, or u might be blinded by ur knowledge in programming languages.

ur an idiot, make your own code, start small, a*,1000,-a,stop wala works then try diff code. Learn how to debug!

How big a chance is there getting banned using this on GameHI's servers? im new 2 Dekaron and have no clue :P

Well it won't be detected, only could be banned by a GM monitoring you. Have not heard of anyone being banned using it for the 2months I been developing it.

ok i got the COMDLG32.OCX error when i tryed to start it. so i tryed the first fix thing it didnt do anything. the second one cud very well be explained better i had trouble figuring out what it was trying to get me to do. but once i got it and did it, i got another error msg when i tryed to register the .OCX file. it said :

the module "the comand line i had to type in the run box" may not compatible with the version of Windows that you're running. check if the module is compatible with an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of regsvr32..

so am i doing somthing wrong or is this just not meant for vista home premium

64 BIT AND WINDOWS 7-The Command is different it is:
regsvr32.exe C:\Windows\SysWOW64\comdlg32.ocx
And it needs to be placed in SysWOW64 folder not system32

You need to follow that part of the instructions. IF thats not the issue then the command prompt need to be ran as admin.

I apologize but I'm a total idiot with scripting so I've been trying to use the defaults you've generously included with the bot. So far I get the bot walking the movement paths no problem and looting but it's not attacking any monsters. Is there any reason why? I loaded the skillbot script and the zig zag script.

EDIT: I got the bot attacking but it only attacks the monsters for a short period of time then the bot runs away even tho the monster it was attacking is not, it's also attacking any monsters nearby and not attacking the same monster. Example: It blade spins an Akris then cross hacks a Yetarian.
