I have been testing it, and there isn't any considerable difference.
Still getting the usual screen freeze/delay of animations.

Apparently this is just a VB script to change a single entry in the windows registry, setting the TcpAckFrequency from 2 to 1 in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servi ces\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\<Interface GUID>"

However I browsed to that part of my registry and there is no key named TcpAckFrequency


I found an article in microsoft.com - - sounds pretty safe.
