These sums are tax deductible peanuts for a company. The cost of a reverse engineer/software developer is more for a single hour of work than several subscriptions for your typical p2c.

And why does everyone need to submit a "sample" of their cheat to Der-Eddy? What is stopping Der-eddy from collecting a stockpile of free undetected cheats. All he has to do is load it in VM, test it and get the source code
