why you still "playing" darkorbit?

honest question. played since 2009. play on and off. but quit finally in 2019.

- to much bots
- to much bugs
- ranking/ rank is destroyed
- no content besides for botter

so why waste money and time on such a bad company? why not just accept that the great old Darkorbit times are over and they just want to milk whats left?
its like you play Cs:go and do a 1v1 with both of you being cheater. there isnt any skill involved anymore in this game.

You didn't point out the real reasons I believe that makes the game worst then before
- unbalanced: player gap is too high
- very small and old community

DO 2009 already had bots, bugs, and limited content, those aren't new they've always been part of dark orbit even during the "great old times" (we call it that today but i remember when playing in 2009 many were already complaining about how the game was bad and broken, dark orbit never was a good game it just got worst as it aged)

The only reason i'm still here is because i haven't found any other game of the same style as dark orbit

Because of so many beautiful memories and countless hours, spent with friends, in this once great game.
Older players from GE1 will remember "SLK", "•Λ•", "CSG" and other great clans from good old days.

yeah same. do on its own is relaxing to play, but farming is just way beyond pointless becouse of the bots and bugs. no point in competing against other players

Who said u need to compete with other players without using bot. You still can use bot to compete with other players and still have little fun from game without any worries to get banned, EVERYONE can use bot, there are some even for free [But... well, ngl, modules, especially these ones with shield pen just destroyed pvp in this game, but still u can find some really good fights + botting is boring as ****, but a lot of people likes to just "see" how numbers and their eqiupment growing]. A lot of people can't find any other game with "competes" with DarkOrbit, which mean most of these people are addicted from botting and this game, since they can't find something new, also they got used to botting, so private servers are not that popular nowadays, while seeing growing numbers and **** without any own use at all. Thats one of main reason i guess, second one are just nostalgia and memories.

But still, this game is **** and full of ****** bug abusers which wont ever get banned for some reason, its not worth to play, but most of us are addicted from this game, since a lot of us playing it from... even 2009 or less, lol. That's just childhood game, which is much easier by bugs and bots, which affect more people to play. A lot of us have gf, their own house, wifes, even some childs, a lot of us dont have that much time we had these days, so we got bots and bug abusers, mostly made by people like us which playing this game for years

I sadly don't play anymore, i've changed from "try to get the daily login" to don't even login anymore without thoughts or something..

For me the reasons are:
- too much bots, ok since the beginning we had bots but honestly... people weren't botting 24/7 365/365 days c'mon let's be real - what's the point now?
- same events just with a different background
- no payment changes, not asking to lower prices but maybe add different kind of payments options (weekly premium maybe?)
- no motivation, ok new guns but you've got to or lose days to grind 'em joining the ufe race or you'll stay behind

= it's just the same stuff going on every year more, either you find a good clan which you can maybe have more motivation or not, things never change, speaking for myself i've seen a huge difference since ~2018/19, after those years people stopped playing and started farming and for what? rank is now the new golden coin and for what? just to show it while the bot changes between galaxy gates? lmao

the game has become like a drug, and it's sad

btw as i said, that's my thought, correct or wrong that's the impression i've got from the game and some community
