Genesis created this game mod for Space Age that allows players to keep playing with DO graphic. I'll keep this thread updated since he's not on epvp. Enjoy!

Hello everyone! I played this game since a few months and I find it very beautiful, the moded graphics made me revive some old feelings, that remind me of my childhood

BP asked them to close the server, so they changed the graphics to keep this game online

If the version is indeed 0.5.6.exe from the DL, it doesn't work. It just says to press space then fades away then I keep getting the same message.

and inb4, if you want me to join your discord just to download something, it won't work too. It would be better if you just put the actual version in the thread. I didn't come here to join discord links.

Latest version as of today is 0.10.7

And you should join discord anyway because you'll be missing out on important information and news, also to be part of the community, discord is a great and fun place

Good, that one works. Albeit the client is slowly..

I have a question about how your variables are stored. So they get sent to an offshore site/database from the gamemaker .gmk client? is it sql? Where does the progress get saved?

Maybe i'll check the discord links. Tho a page where the program gets presented it should also have an official download link. Other secondary links are/should be optional imo.

PS.

I noticed that the engine nozzle fire just fades away, goes gradually transparent in this gmk version of darkorbit, while in the originals it was just becoming smaller and smaller like this:
