Darkorbit Remix 2018
Hello Darkorbit comunity ! I'm addressing to the people that want to play, play or played any Darkorbit Remix versions in the past. Me and some friends started developing a Darkorbit remix for future launch in early 2018. We want to make a full final version with all features and details that the real Darkorbit has. Any remixes i've played so far were incomplete and sometimes low quality. We want to make a complete, and high quality one, with all maps, aliens, gates, ships, drone formations, resources, maybe some more intelligent bots for PvP. The question is, we will spend several months on all this and also some money we think, we are planning maybe to pay some programmers to help the work go faster and we need a funding method for the project. We came up with two modalities: 1) Create a website with PayPal payment and let anyone who wants, to donate any sum of money. 2) Sell the game for 1$/copy after release. Which method do you think is the most suitable ? (Please without "1st one because is the best or "2nd one because i like it", we want you to bring several argumets on why do you think the 1st option is better or viceversa)
P.S. The game will be made in the last version of Unity game engine and C# programming language. Both have a great support for game development and are one of the best tools for making games. Thank you ! Waiting your your replays !
