This is a pre-warning as I'm currently at work. Some posts are going to be deleted, I'll make a proper post later today or tomorrow. But, no need to mention packet bots (safety wise), Kappabot and prices. This is about the bot, its development and the discussion about the bot. I will keep an eye on this thread.

Guys, this is getting ridiculous. To answer all your concerns about packet bots being unsafe in the simplest of terms: A packet bot is no less safe than a pixel bot so long as you build it correctly. v5dev have had a year to perfect their implementation, and have avoided many ban waves, so it is safe to say that, for now, the bot is safe. As long as they pay close attention to the contents of each update, this will remain the case.

99% of people caught using a bot is due to their server side anti-bot scripts and have nothing to do with whether you are using a packet bot or a pixel bot. If you bot 24/h a day with either, you will get banned.

From what I can tell the few people who have bought the bot and come back here to report have all had glowing reviews. Let's hope that, through all the speculation and rumour on this thread, that shines through.

Finally I've bought the 3 days trial and tomorrow it'll expire.
What to say? Impressive! Fast and reliable! It worth his price, what doesen't worth is spend money for the game itself and bot/tools...
It gives his best on a VPS (probably 1gb of RAM is good to run it and keep Windows stable) with a timetable botting 14/16 hours a day.
I'm not going to buy more day at the moment, but only for the price.

Good Job developers but keep an eye open on safety!
It will also nice to implement an auto-update feature (eg. Golem).

I've asked many time without getting a reply. Just for curiosity, what was the thing that forced to abandone the PDBOBot project back in 2013? I mean the thing implemented by Darkorbit

When this bot was initially released i was pretty about the pricing structure of the bot, but after having tested it for a few days it has changed my mind completely!

At the moment I am botting streuneR's and boxes with a sub-UFE/goli/x2/sep in x-8 and I am earing about 9-10k uri/hour. I haven't tried botting in x-7 yet but that is soon to come! I can cycle between maps- make a timetable so lets say 6 hours in x-8 then 6 hours in x-7 then in 4-x then x-2/x-3! Botting 24h straight could give you rewards up to 200k-240k uri per day. Also the nice thing about this bot is that you can leave to go to work at 8am, and when you get back at 5pm you can be sure it is still earning you uri- opposed to pixel bots which would usually stop working/lose connection at around 12pm.

Here is something for everyone to consider who thought it was 'too expensive' (myself included a few days ago). The dev's have worked very hard on this project for a year, and BP have made it a lot harder to make packet bots. Also the dev's are very active on their . In my eyes they have deserve it. To those who are saying "Why should I get this if I can use a pixel bot for free?", that is like saying why spend $10 a month on photoshop when you can use MS paint for free!

The layout is initially quite (very) confusing, but you do get used to it after a few days.

A packet bot works by emulating the real game client. If done properly, a packet bot will be 100% indistinguishable from the real game client, making it impossible to "detect". There is no fix for packet bots, anything they add to the real client to stop packet bots, can be replicated in the packet bot. Also, having the source code of a packet bot, does not make them detectable or any less secure.

The only way to stop a packet bot is to make it so difficult to update after each Dark Orbit update, that it is no longer worth the time or effort. This is what happened with PBDO-Bot.

If you have the source code you can see exactly how the bot works and you might be able to find a small bug you can exploit to detect this specific packet bot, it's a small advantage, but an advantage nevertheless. If the developers are good tho (As I'm shure is the case with the developers of DOB bot, even if I wasn't around at the time PBDO was a thing), the bot won't have such fallacies and it wouldn't need to be too well protected. A little encryption never hurts tho, as that makes it harder to find those little exploits.

As I said, it is a small advantage, and it is probably not the best way for bp to try to detect botters, but it is something they may gain an advantage with if it is made too easy for them.

Of course. When I made that statement I was assuming that they had built the bot correctly. Sure there may be a mistake, but I highly doubt they will be able to gather ANYTHING from a decompiled, obfuscated version of the bot's source code.

How do I get the Bot to do GGs? Im using the default Profile (A, B, G GG etc.) but all the bot does is drive to the X-2 Gate and stay there evenhtough that I have Alpha, Beta, Gamma placed on x-1?
