Should I continue my project or...?

Hi guys, I've to take a decision.. In these months I saw something bad aganist my project, FsBot. There are a lot of haters/crackers etc.. yeah **** like that

Also I didn't sold as much licenses as I expected (In the fact I sold much more licenses of FsBot Desktop) so I want the help of the darkorbit community to take a decision. I would like to stop FsBot series and start a new project based on FsBot BG, but with more bug fixes and totally free.

Why this? I decided to put an ads system on the bot so people can still use a good bot and I will make some few money from ads. Ads will not be invasive, will not stop the bot work or things like that. Also I want to redesign the entire User Interface to make it more easy-to-understand and easy-to-setup.

Obviusly I think that all you will decide that this new bot maybe is better because is free and less bugged. But I really want to understand the reason that make FsBot project bad at the eyes of users. So please compile the Poll so I will try to keep your choice in mind to avoid errors next time.

- still many buggs
- its in beta for around 1 year now
- not really good support

I really like your work. I started developing my BG bot, because I found your bot (I never stole your code). You only need write more your code (for example PixelSeacrch). So do it what you think is good. Your idea with ads is really cool. Keep in good work!

You can learn new programming language - AutoIt is slow. Maybe C#? ^^

Make a complete sentence (if you can) with your opinion, writing also WHY someone shouldn't pay for this.

I didn't want to say this, but in my opinion make this bot perfect and aviable just for few users. Users that won't share it to others (we had a nice example about another bot) and then, once people will burn being jealous, release it with a new license system.
Learn from what people needs, what they write.

Don't give interest about "some people" who just write shits without knowing nothing about your work.

write them, post in fsbot's thread and fuso will work on them.

Beta:

Means nothing much, who cares if it's beta or not? He'd need to make another thread then and you will be happy?

if you had troubles with kaloian, fix them with him.

Fuso, i think fsbot is a great bot, the only problem is:
it has many bugs, regarding the most basic bot funcionallity (start/stop), it crashed loads of times on me by just starting and stoping the bot.
if that was smoother, it would be alot better, i switched to candy bot for 2 reasons:
1: works the same as fsbot, but it doesn't give me as much truble (has less extra features, that i liked about fsbot, but the ones that it has, work well)
2: it's free, and not a beta that just ended while the bot still has many bugs.

imo, if you make a free version, and polish up the bugs that the bot still has, it's a nice bot.

features that i would like to be fixed/added:
- the "display" thing that should display as minimap
- start/stop/pause buttons
- remember where boxes that you passed thru were, and go back to collect them
- resizable screen

if you kept the bot in (free) beta until all of that is fixed, and give some weeks after everything is fixed for ppl to test it, more players would buy it

Dont give up cause the crackers just use another language, there will ever be people that want to stop your work , the haters/crackers wants exactly this stop you. you still can make FsbotBg in another languages that is not very easy to decomplie.

Hello Fuso, don't give up your project. The Readon why you don't sell Much licenses is because og the "dying" community. And not to be harsh But you need to improvr your bot Make something unique of it Else People's loose Their interestes of your bot, example candybot is free and really Does have an smooth layout, Also it have a circle Logic that Works Ok (atleast for me) So my point is you need sell the product it wont sell itself you need to Prove and give a Reason why People's should give you 5 euro a month for your bot when the free one is atleast as good if not
I hope you you are gonna continue this bot, But is making changes (like a smooth ui and so on)

Fuso I already told you.. You musn't care about the no-lifed haters or otherwise the people who use cracked bot who is keylogging their PCs instead of paying 4 EUR (example in France my dad is working in the police and he is getting 3200 EUR per month , 4 EUR is **** ..) that is decission of the users. The bot is very good , true there are some bugs but thats obvious for a pixel bot... I told you everything in skype yesterday.. Hope you take the right decission.

I was a costumer of FSBot Desktop, but I didn't buy the BG Version.
The desktop version was good and when you announced the BG Version, I was excited. Until you announced that the Desktop user won't using the BG version.

Someday, you gave every Desktop user the possibility for testing your BG version. But the BG version was not bugfree enough. If FSBot would work more smooth than I'd pay again.

Why there is not a button for "i like fsbot"?

Resellers (like roby and prdly, i dont know very well the other ones but they will be sure awesome too) are awesome
The main problems of you bot (i dont knlw if it is solved or not) are that it get stuck on cbs, and so on. Maybe you can re-work the collection logic and put sensivity or something like that (i dont know if it is already implememted), like candybot does, it dont get stuck.
In order to get more customers the best option is a free version able to collect boxes (and nothing else).
You can also use shortcut pages (which includes ads on the links) for the free version and everytime it has to be updated the people must download from the site and use that ad link (you will earn some money from the free version)
All can be improved, but not give up now because you are so close to fix and improve all.
You can also add disccounts in license, for example 2months 8€ and not 10€... Things like that
About haters crackers....if someone want to crack your bot its because he thinks that your blt is good enough to spend his time cracking it, and if someone hates you its because they know that you have ~17 years and you have developed one of the best bots for darkorbit, just it, they wsnt to be you

So guys thanks for all quick answer. Thanks to who posted the general problems of the bot and to who posted why it like fsbot. Anyway I want explain the reason of this decision:

The first reason because I started making bots is because I want to fight aganist BP, and aganist this high price (don't post things like "bots destroy games" or things like that please). The reason because I want to earn money from bots is because this take me a lot of time and like every work need to be paid. I just noticed that when fsbot was free more than 2500 users was using fsbot, now they are less than 500 I think. (A great part of them use cracks, another part use free version, and the rest are Pro users). I can earn a good amount of money from ads, continuing my fight aganist BP and giving to the community something helpfull. My presentiments have been demostrated by this poll:
- Some users selected all points (and some of these are haters)
- But a great part stopped using the bot because it became buyable

I will wait up to 3 days. After that I will take my decision.

I really think that I will start work on the new free bot.
