Because you have a stable host & not been hacked yet, doesnt mean your the best to be the best you need to make your server unique like new features up to date with the real darkorbit, and so on, whats up with having a server that never change ? try copy darkorbit in some way's like make your own custom gates ? and so on, then the server would be worth to play at, but there is no private server atm that i would EVER think of joining with the small amount of knownledge the owners have.

Because at the moment is bragging and being arrogant with a premade server that you didnt make you self.

You said a server costs a lot of money, first of all, thats not true, what it costs is a lot of effort, and i'm writting as a server developer now.

This community has a few good developers here that spent a lot of time here bypassing DO encryption, coding an emulator, the website, database, etc.. all the things needed to make a 'copy' of DarkOrbit.

After that someone steals the code and 2 days later you've a lot of new threads with the words "new best server" in their names. Even more, they edit the code to change the authors of the projects (Yeah pachequinn i'm thinking in you at the moment). Then they sell the source for over 200$ ()

Of course we help each other, but only ones who deserve it, as you can see Cryz is working on a 3D server, sometimes he asks me something and I try to help him and the inverse. The same with people like ordepsousa with Spacebattles, manulaiko, Snowy, Bau, etc... but not to this people.

I hope you understand this point of view

I think is not the place to talk about your friend and even less about my personal life.

Your friend, the one who offered me money to solve a few problems and install lampp, mysql, etc.. in his DEBIAN VPS, job that I did successfully (I've a lot of screenshots and people who were on the same skype group that can confirm it). His problem at the end was that he was unable to run the server in the vps, even more, he offered me more money to install wine to run the .exe in debian instead of taking it I explained him how to do it.

Ofc as programmer I won't work for free sorry, if you want me to fix something in your server (as many people asks me everyday) I won't do it for free if you were expecting it. Go to your nearest restaurant and try to eat for free, good luck.

Anyways, that was completly offtopic, you aren't anyone to say something about my personal life and judge about something that doesn't concern you.

We are in closed alpha for the moment, so only testers and devs have the username & password required to access UberOrbit
