There we go...DarkOrbit cancelled the Jackpot Arena for a longer time due to "problems with unfair players".

As we’ve recently reminded everyone, cheating, account ownership discrepancies, and similar terms and conditions violations will not be tolerated in the Jackpot Arena.

This is the third month in a row that we have been required to invalidate the results of the Jackpot Arena, and now we are being forced to rethink how the JPA is currently implemented and used.

We are placing any future Jackpot Arenas on hold until further notice. During this period we will discuss plans for the JPA, both internally and with the community.

Unfortunately, there are certain critical factors that we currently cannot control when players are signing on for the JPA. Due to this, it is only after careful, manual investigation that we are able to detect cases of foul play.

We know that the vast majority of our player base has a strong desire for fair play and desires a legitimate chance at winning in this sort of competition. Unfortunately, given the value of the prize in this competition, some players have felt too strongly encouraged to find any opportunity possible to cheat.

When this happens, it wastes everyone’s time and money, and creates an unpleasant experience for everyone involved.

With this in mind, we want to take some time and figure out how to not only fix this, but also to come up with a solution that will be interesting to a wider player base and better convey our ultimate aim for the game. Our goal is to provide properly incentivized PVP competition, in a fair environment, and reward as many eligible contestants as possible. Currently, the JPA is not doing this.

Until we get the proper solution in place, as stated above, all upcoming Jackpot Arena battles are on hold.

Hallo Space-Piloten,

wie wir bereits kürzlich angekündigt haben, werden wir Cheating, Ungereimtheiten bei der Account-Eigentümerschaft und ähnliche Verstöße gegen die Nutzungsbedingungen in der Jackpot Arena nicht tolerieren.

Wir mussten diesen Monat zum dritten Mal in Folge die Ergebnisse der Jackpot Arena für ungültig erklären und müssen jetzt die Art und Weise überdenken, wie die JPA momentan funktioniert und genutzt wird.

Dazu werden wir alle zukünftigen Jackpot Arenas bis auf Weiteres aussetzen. In der Zwischenzeit werden wir unsere Pläne für die JPA intern und mit der Community besprechen.

Leider liegen einige kritische Faktoren nicht in unserer Hand, wenn sich Spieler für die JPA anmelden. Aus diesem Grund können wir nur nach sorgfältiger und mühsamer Untersuchung feststellen, ob ein Spieler betrogen hat.

Uns ist klar, dass sich eine große Mehrheit unserer Spielerbasis ein faires Spiel und gerechte Gewinnchancen bei dieser Art von Wettkämpfen wünscht. Leider hat der Wert der Preise in diesem Wettkampf einige Spieler dazu angespornt, auf Biegen und Brechen eine Möglichkeit zum Cheaten zu finden.

Dies bedeutet eine Verschwendung von Zeit und Geld für alle Spieler und ein unangenehmes Ereignis für alle Beteiligten.

Daher möchten wir uns einige Zeit nehmen, um nicht nur dieses Problem zu beheben, sondern auch eine interessante Lösung für eine breitere Spielerbasis zu finden und unser ursprüngliches Ziel für das Spiel umzusetzen. Wir möchten Euch PvP-Wettkämpfe mit interessanten Anreizen in einem fairen Umfeld bieten und möglichst viele berechtigte Teilnehmer belohnen. Die aktuelle JPA erfüllt dieses Ziel nicht.

Bis wir eine entsprechende Lösung gefunden haben, werden daher alle zukünftigen JPAs bis auf Weiteres ausgesetzt.

Bitte beachtet dazu auch den Feedback- und Diskussionsthread zu dem Thema und beteiligt Euch an der Diskussion !

Well i play other games on which there isn't a money reward and then?

I mean, they did a good choice removing it. Since every single winner is not the real owner of the account. Look interceptor, he won 3 jpa (?) i'm ready to bet that he won on 3 different accounts.

Also Italians weren't allowed to join due to some invented rules of bigpoint or from our (sh1tty) government. I've always looked at JPA/JPB not very weel, many cheater, acp hackers with corrupted mods.


Also2, the probability of a "normal" ufe player to win it is almost near 0.
They made a lot of jpa and who won? 26 times an uno player, 3-6 times 775 player, others won by a uns player or 1-2 generals over the servers...

I've never saw a normal guy who won jpa.

Said this, leave the game but leave for real if you really want to do that.

They have enough money to do a JPA every week if they wanted to and it would have no noticeable effect on their revenue.

It really is funny the amount of people who think BP has a money issue and wants to keep 10k every month instead of give it away. 10k is literally nothing to them.
They are tired of people buying and sharing accounts winning JPA, that is it.

They make roughly $200,000,000 revenue a year, 10k is 0.005% of that.

Only about 100 players actually care and think they can win JPA, DO won't care at all if 100 people leave.
If JPA is cancelled forever then the dev team will create a new Jackpot event and all those players who left will come back thinking they will win it again.

With new rules very few people are able to win JPA now, wouldn't surprise me if nobody on epvp was eligible to win JPA. I think the people who care the most about this change don't even realize that if they did win they would receive nothing.

I live in us and most of the states here cant participate..so i just play for fun anyways..u dont need jpa (wich most of u cant win anyways) to have fun.

Yeah It's something like 22 states that can't participate. Now we see others complaining when we couldn't JPA since the start of the game.

The chance for win JPA is 0, all winner have contact with corrupted Admin or high ranked persons on Bigpoint, just take the french servers i have a loooooooong list of players with theyr user ID and log from ACP they have unlimited premium (removed few years ago) but the Mod's are all corrupted on DarkOrbit, they recieve bonus per month, i'm Ex Mod on french DarkOrbit Team, when i start i recieve 250K Uridium per month on little account.

You can recieve all of you want (but no LF4), 1 hercule, ammo, ship, premium pack, etc...

Many Mod's and Team Leader like CO-TL-Kheiron in the french moderation give Unlimited premium to other Mod's on his player account, but if this Mod leave the moderation team, his unlimited premium is removed but it's not normal to have "free" account like this, it's to easy...

In french Moderation team on the french forum they make game for players for win a lot of uridium, hercule or other things, the votes are corrupted, i've got 1 hercules free, it's easy to talk with other Mod and have help for win (Special thanks to M-Livanaa for cheat a Chrismas Calendar Event )

From what I have heard is that a Forum Moderator/ Chat Moderator only receives 100.000 uri per month? With what did you start as moderator?

I start to forum moderator, i don't know the uridium per month for chat but i think it's the same, and when you have good feeling with chat or forum you can be moderator for two categories... chat and forum, more uridium and more bonus -_-
