Future of Dark Orbit Remix

Hello there!
Today after some months I had the possibility to talk with Rider735, and he said to me, that he doesn't care anymore about DO projects... So since we started this project two years ago, thanks to the original DOR developers of v2.3.2, that they shared their game source after they stopped to work on it, and since noone is working on DarkOrbit Remix 5.3, I was thinking of realize the open source of this fantastic game! (Then everyone will have the possibility to continue this project)

I know that D.O.R. is not popular as old times because of the realize of private servers but I also know that there are many people that still love it!

And as for the Darkorbit Private Server Section I would to open a new thread for all developers that use Game Maker for their projects of darkorbit like Darkorbit Remix, Orbit Legacy, and other darkorbit clones... On this section you will find many open source of DO projects and also you can ask for help!

I would like this to happen, sadly I'm pretty basic at programming/coding whatever just now so I wouldn't take this project on for it to eventually fail. I'd love to see someone make something out of it though, it has potential.

I follow the darkorbit remix since before the 2.3.2 source, I enjoyed the work you have done with it and I think that just as happened with the 2.3.2 version is can stay in the hands of another team so I think if they get the project will never end.
