After several months of careful preparation, innovation and perspiration the DarkOrbit team has reached an important milestone in the continuous development of the game. We are proud to present you with the hottest invention since the invention of the Laser: The 3D engine update.
If your PC/Laptop has a 3D accelerator build in, you will notice not only cool new effects and more depth in the game but also a smoother gameplay experience event with a higher number of objects on the screen.
Should you be amongst the 15% of players whose PC is not up to it, you can keep playing in 2D mode as usual.
The final event mission should be available now for you all, and as a result the event has been prolonged 24 hours (ending 23:59 Tuesday June 30, 2015).

Wenn Euer PC oder Laptop über 3D-Beschleunigung verfügt, werdet Ihr neben coolen neuen Effekten und mehr Tiefe auch feststellen, dass das Spiel flüssiger läuft, wenn viele Objekte auf dem Bildschirm dargestellt werden.
Falls Ihr zu den 15% der Spieler gehört, deren PC dies nicht unterstützt, könnt Ihr weiterhin wie gewohnt im 2D-Modus spielen.
Die Abschlussveranstaltung Mission soll ab sofort für euch allen, und als Ergebnis der Veranstaltung wurde 24 Stunden verlängert (Ende 23.59 Uhr Dienstag 30. Juni 2015).

Dacă calculatorul/laptopul tău are un accelerator 3D incorporat, vei observa nu doar efecte noi și mai multă adâncime în joc, ci și o desfășurare mai cursivă a jocului cu mai multe obiecte pe ecran.
În cazul în care te numeri printre cei 15% dintre jucători ale căror calculatoare nu suportă această tehnologie, poți continua să joci în modul 2D ca până acum.
