[Alpha] DarkOrbit NewGen | Offline clone

I know, I know, there are so much offline clones. But if it is not a modication of DarkOrbit Remix, it is usually something that needs to run server or something like that. I have decided to make all new clone from scratch using only resources (ships, npcs) from original DO. So I have made NewGen (Full name is New Generation, but NewGen sound better). Be careful! It's still alpha!
It's not Remix! It's NewGen!
Don't ask for online or multiplayer!
Project is dead! I give you source to do whatever you want with it, but give me (Nik333) credit! You welcome!

Windows 8 - must read!

Windows 8 audio libraries has some terrible issues.
When you first launch 0.4.2 or newer on Windows 8 (not Win7, just Win8) follow these instructions:
1. In menu, click on settings in top right corner
2. Turn off aliens sounds (normal sounds are okay)
3. Click in top right button to close
4. Save your game
5. Enjoy NewGen!

It is recommended to play this game on resolution 800x600 and higher. Lower resolutions will be supported in future.
It should run on every android version from 1.5 to 5.0. If it really does is unknown. Tested on 4.1.2 Jellybean only.

i have a suggestion. make an xml-interface to make changing gamevars as easy as possible and make a "by default" disabled network-protocol for decentralized server like counter-strike.

Technology don't let me make something like server, because even without npcs and other things, ping would be over 1000 ms. As I said, it is offline clone even if I would like to make it online. There are enough private servers so I leave this to them. Thanks for feedback anyway!
Edit: Also, there is so much work to do even if it was possible to make it online...

Minimap travelling is complete, gate jumping is complete, X-2 and Lordakia is also complete! I'll finish X-3 and X-4 and upload alpha 0.2, hopefully today.

In shop, there are only 4 lasers, but if you look in hangar (which is also in video 0:33), there is 5th laser - LF-4, which couldn't be bought in shop. I am going to make it as drop from galaxy gates, but currently it can be only get by cheating... You are half-right.
BTW: Citadel and Aegis resources takes totally more than 10 MB in size! Should I include these in separate files or should I let it be in executable?

Yes GameMaker, like old DarkOrbit Remix and all it modes. GameMaker don't actually means bad.

Alpha 0.2 is done. I have added aegis and his 2 friends along with 9 new maps and all lower maps NPCs (Lordakia, Saimon, Mordon, Devolarium, Sibelon). I have of course added jumpgates (jump using A key) and traveling by clicking on minimap.
