Well, I closed this thread because I hadn't time to upload it and i didn't wanted people asking me all the day for new updates.

Today i want to re-open it again because idk if i'll finish the emulator, at least i want to release all my work at the date. The emulator it's coded in Java, but it's very messed up and is not considered stable nor intended for public use, because it has too many bugs.

As i said, its bad coded but i learned a lot developing it, so i want to start a new one with all the new knowledge xD

Features:

• Portals
• Rank System
• Chat system ( with a few commands)
• All ships except Aegis, Citadel, Spearhead
• NPC's are in development (TestMap ID:201)
• In-Game ACP working perfectly (Only a few commands done)
• The equipment doesn't work properly because I'm too lazy to do it
• *All In-Orbit features

Hi elitepvpers community!

Well, first of all i want to say that i'm a young spanish guy who doesn't have any advanced programming knowledge, i'm starting software engineering this week

So if you want to blame me, go to another place, i'm trying my best with this emulator.


I'm making an emulator for from Bau in Java and i wanted to share with you the first release of it.

The currently features is just the user login into the space map but my plans is to do a full emulator with all the functions, like the official Dark Orbit as possible. I'll release the source code when the project go more advanced.

Changelog:

v0.1 - First release

Installation:

1. Create a new Database with the name 'darkorbit' and import 'darkorbit.sql' file.
2. You should edit the 'Server.config.php' , 'KERNEL-DOCMS\Server.config.php' , 'KERNEL-DOCMS\Class.db.php' and 'KERNEL-DOCMS\Files\en_US\GLOBAL\dbConnection.php'
   with your MySQL data.
3. To run the emulator (.jar file) you should do it through the Console of Windows. Something like this.. (An example is in the emulator folder)

   java -jar Server.jar

4. NOTE: You should have at least Java 1.7 to run the emulator

Well I think this is all, like i told you this emulator is nothing at the moment, but i'll update it regularly so please don't tell me that is bad because it doesn't have Npc's, portals, etc... Because i'll release it later

*NOTE: you should download at least the first time the full package because I edited some of the code of In-Orbit. If no it won't work.

Check if you have installed Java. If you have it on your computer, use this code to start emulator(put in run.bat file).

Bau did a really good job with In-Orbit. I'm trying to do my best to get the best emulator in the community, based on In-Orbit databases for now. By the way i'm editing some of the code of In-Orbit to fit with the emulator easiest

You should edit the MySQL password in the emulator folder Settings/config.ini

yes I know but my MySQL does not have a password because the emulator asks me ??

Provide your config file, and/or details to phpmyadmin if you don't mind.
Does phpmyadmin have a password for root? If not, fix your config file for your files and remove the password.

Note for the future, for us a community to help you. You must be willing to help us help you, provide more details and/or images in the future. Provide more about the error, elaborate at it more. Not a lot of people can look at one picture, and instantly know your error. Just help us help you, is all. (:

Same goes for you, see what I said to the past user that had an error occur with the same situation.

I have no password set on mysql and changed the settings in the emulator config
