P.E.T - Should I get it (no p2w-Player) ?

Hello guys!

I already started another tread about what is best to do next, and P.E.T. seems to be a good way.
Starting a new tread with a poll may be easier, so I do it now.
About me: I've been playing Dark Orbit casually on different accounts since 2007, this account has got a ("old") FE-Vengeance at Level 13 now. I don't spend real money on Uridium.
With this being said, is it worth getting P.E.T. (for extra damage and collecting bonus-boxes)?

Pet might be a good investment if you gonna level it to 8 and get level 3 resource recollection module and spend time collecting palladium. The additional damage is a little bit low if you don't open more laser slots (which costs uridium).

Since you have a not so strong ship, I would recommend you to lvl your pet to 8 and then buy lvl 3 module (resource collector is the one I recommend you, and repair module too, so you can repair your pet's hp, and maybe a little bit later you can buy 1-2 lvl 3 radar protocoles to increase your resource recollector module radius). Buying lvl 1-2 module in my opinion is a waste of uridium (maybe you can buy lvl 2 repair module because a PET has 50k base hp and lvl 2 repair module repairs something like 6k per tick if I don't remember bad, while lvl 3 repair module repairs 12k per tick.).
And the other slots, it depends a lot on what you spend most of your time doing.


Edit: Also as SpiritFighter said, you should buy kamikaze gear (lvl 3) because you are premium so you can use it freely in cubes or hunting aliens without having to pay to repair your pet. (It also helps a lot in galaxy gates like alpha, beta and gamma, on waves like sibelonits, kristallin, protegits)

I wouldnt go for the laser slots or the generator slots, rather go for the gear slots then.
Otherwise go for the kamikazi gear or resource collector gear since they will help you alot.

Just keep your pet empty until lvl8 and than buy some useful lvl3 gears(kamikaze,auto-looter,res.collector)... Buying extra slots can wait some time :-)

Just a quick question: Does auto-looter work when I'm stationary at a gate or cloaked somewhere on the map doing something else or do I have to be moving?
Anyway, it should be worth it (PET currently 1,7 mil xp).

If a box will be in your range than it will fly automatically, you don't need to move...

yes do that but keep it on a side window and click around occasionally so you don't get disconnected...
Just use it too pali in 5-3

How much Uridium can I assume to get per hour?

I think I posted it in your other thread, anyway all the information you can find in google, just search sometimes.
