Best Drone formation?

What do you guys think is the best drone formation?
I'm planning on getting diamond for NPC's and chevron for my leo.

You guys have any other opinions?

Almost all of them can be good for something.

Pincer / Heart / Diamond are the ones used most often in JPA and then of course there is moth for hunting on assassin configs etc.

However, for building up your account, diamond will be the best just because it makes NPC easier as you already mentioned.

For a leonov, yes, but realistically how long are you going to be in a leonov before moving onto a goliath? Will that time be worth buying the Chevron over the Diamond?

If you shoot aliens, like kristallons, Diamond is maybe best formation for you. But if you hunt much, heart or Pincer is good for that.

Like you said, Diamond and Chevron you want to get, they are the best formations, I have all the formations, and those two are my favorite.

If you don't want to kill cubi now, and have quite good dmg at least 4-5k and u can circle npc good, then buy moth, circle npc, it will eat npc hp faster. I do all gates using moth.
