Hi, i have seen for a while that some players earn crazy amounts of honor over a short amount of time, if i check in the weekly rank they make 600+mil in a week, which is physically impossible. I wanted to know if it was just a server glitch? Or could there be a possibility to duplicate the message sent to server when you complete a gate. Such as using charles and send message to DO server 50 times, so you get 50 times the gate reward, is this possible?

But to answer your second question:
Usually the client doesn't tell the server, that gate is done. The server should find it out on his own, through some logical stuff.

When you code a multiplayer game, you need to remember one rule:
Do as much serverside stuff as possible. Effect will come from clientside.
But never put the damage on the clientside.

thats true but, look at how the old credit bug was done, going into negatives, the server wont let a player go into negatives. So if you repeat the rewards? some people have 1bil honor in a week, how?

Yeah of course it worked. The client (browser) sent a request to a .php file to sell this drone.
But the php file didn't check if this drone still exists, neither it ever existed, so it messed everything up at too many requests.

But at galaxy gates there isn't any packet from client to server, that says: "Hey Server! Hey!!! I'm done!"

Everything is done by the server. The server tells the client when the gate is done. Not reversed.

well you can get the 50% honur booster for buying uri + Double boosters + Honur desing and pincer and smash on gates its possible
