Hello everyone, today I finally do the first beta of my old dark orbit private server.

If you want to know who I am, I'm the author of this thread :

1. Why would you like to join the Beta Test ?
Because I love the old darkorbit, I would love the help the upcomming community... I think a lot of people know my name in this forum, so that could help aswell...

2. Why you and not someone else ?
Hmm I think we all want it as much as everyone else, so that's a difficult question... I would love to help out the game by finding some little bugs, and just watching the game grow... I'm not skilled in coding, but I can help you out if you need someone as admin, chat,...

I want to play the old client again and want to help you to make it better and better.
2. Why you and not someone else ?
I am not the worst at coding and can give tips and help fixxing bugs.

First of all, I'm a trustful member and pretty active. I could always help you, whenever you need help!

Because I've played Darkorbit since 2009. I've had a lot of ships but I sold them. Now I have a lot of time to dedicate to this server

2. Why you and not someone else ?
Because nobody likes so much the old client like me and I'm good finding bugs

I love OldDarkorbit - this were the best time of this game. I was hoping all the time that in the end some one will make Old-Client server

I know at least "something" about programming, so while I would see the BUG I probably will have idea how to fix it. Besides of that I am trusted (PBDO-Reseller).

Nostalgia, which appears to be a common theme for everyone else too ^^

2. Why you and not someone else?
I have done this sort of beta testing before on private servers, as have many of the others who have already posted in this thread.
I have realistic expectations.
There will be bugs and glitches and other issues that some people would just point out however I will give my input where I think it is needed as to how things could be changed to make a better experience for the user when this goes public.
As a beta tester we shouldn't be there just for a mess about, we should be there to make your end product better for others.
I can't code competently so won't be any help there but I am applying as a tester not a developer

1- I miss the old pink goli and the old slow iris movement

would be nice play that game again..
2- It's not that important for me since I dont have very much time on pc to play a game, It's up to you.
