Get ready for blood on the dance floor as Team Deathmatches get a highly anticipated facelift! We've listened closely to your feedback as to why Team Deathmatches were about as fun as a jump into the center of a star, and we think you'll like what we've done with their revamp:
Waiting around on the map like a raw Academy recruit has been replaced: now you can create or join a team of your Company's pilots from the comfort of our shiny new lobby. Queue up with your friends, and cut some of the randomness out of your life!
Rewards are now performance-based! Be the best of the best, and get the shiniest of the shinies - along with bragging rights among your peers, and the fear and respect of your rivals. First team to reach 100 points (or have the highest score by the match's end) wins!
More options at all times: two Company vs. Company matches will always be running simultaneously for each Company (for example, MMO vs. EIC, EIC vs. VRU, and VRU vs. MMO).
A new match will kick off as soon as every match finishes, rather than having you wait for and then miss the next window of opportunity to join a match. Also, once you're queued for a match, you can change your mind and queue for a different match. It's a pilot's privilege to change their mind, after all.
Match winners stay on the map, to await their next prey.... Er, competition. We meant that. Just some nice, healthy competition here. Practically team sports, it's that wholesome. Yep. Now - KILL 'EM!
