About these Open Sources

Hey guys, Soniyo here

I have lately been roaming through the forum and seen a few open source projects such as Icon8 and Azure DO. These clients are based on the 2010-2011(Icon8) and the Late 2012-2013(Azure). Well i have been wondering something, why not someone make an Open source project of the old Darkorbit(2008 Preferably). Like i mean make it compatiable, use the old page, use the old client gameplay, Old Everything, and Make it work to so that when people want to make a working server they would have little or no editing to fix it. I'm just mainly wondering about it all, because i believe a Open source 2008 client version would be amazingly awesome for everyone to use. it'd be fun and maybe even profitable(for the people whod like to make a lil side money by donation or what have you).

Anyways just think about what i said.

Ich habe in letzter Zeit durch das Forum wurden Roaming gesehen und ein paar Open-Source-Projekte wie Icon8 und Azure DO. Diese Kunden sind auf der 2010-2011 (Icon8) und der späten 2012 bis 2013 (Azure) basiert. Nun, ich habe mich gefragt, was, warum nicht jemand machen ein Open-Source-Projekt der alten Darkorbit (2008 Bevorzugt). Wie ich meine, es compatiable, die alte Seite, benutzen Sie den alten Client Gameplay, Old Alles, und machen es so, dass, wenn Menschen zu einem funktionierenden Server sie wenig oder gar keine Bearbeitung, es zu beheben hätte machen wollen arbeiten. Ich bin gerade vor allem fragen, über all das, weil ich glaube, eine Open-Source-2008-Client-Version wäre erstaunlich genial für jedermann zu bedienen. es würde Spaß machen und vielleicht sogar profitabel (für die Leute wie whod einen lil Seite Geld spenden oder was auch immer).

Sowieso nur darüber nachdenken, was ich sagte.

I cannot agree with you more! 2008 and 2009 was hands down THE best times of Dark Orbit. I prefer late 2008 were the galaxy gate update came in (50 uridium per click) and there wasn't any Delta.
But I agree with you!
You should check this thread out as well.

I've Seen that thread already, and I Eagerly await his updates to come through as well as the release of his server. And about the Galaxy Gates, I couldn't agree more as well. I am what some people call a Galaxy Gate ***** as well as a PvP Specialist *****, haha! When LinkPad releases his server i will get on and attempt to be the best pvp specialist there is once more!

Anyways I am glad you agree with me on here and i hope some coders will see this post and consider doing this.

If I had the necessary files in order to do so i would be doing it myself. Alas i do not have them.
