Hmmm, doesn't this all look familiar to something I said 2 months or so back? :P Looks like they took my idea on anti-autolock seriously

Maybe they'll get smart, find you, and hire you to fight bot makers. As far as the auto locks go; how would you defeat them from the programmers point of view(i.e. if you were a dev what would you do to stop them??)??

What bigpoint have done is good so far. They implemented RSA Encryption to verify that no one is intercepting their packets and changing them. This would be the perfect solution if they could also verify their game client hasn't been modified! Their main issue is that no matter what they do, their SWF files are up there for all to see.
I think the one place ONLY scripts can help is here. No matter what they do in code, it can't STOP autolocks, only slow them down. If I was bigpoint, I would develop a script that determined what screen resolution the player was using, and, if that player locks anyone outside that "size" at which the player is using, then they get a warning. Upon second warning you get kicked. 3rd warning you get banned or whatever Bigpoint want! (The reason for warnings are possible lag). Honestly, that would be a perfect solution.
