the code "to get a ship" have a bug, if you die with that ship, you be that ship
Regarding the alien cheat, there's been a bug with it due to external loading of resources. Didn't have time to look into it yesterday, but you can expect it to be included again in the next update.
The ship cheat isn't a bug. You will actually get that ship, and it wasn't meant to be visual.
