New version isn't working for me either. I left some info as you requested below.
Wich resolution are you using? Maximum
Wich settings are you using? Low on everything
Are you showing the pet window? Yes (but i have no pet)
Windows have transparence? No
You selected a little part of screen (for area) or the hole screen? All screen
Have you discompresed all the files? Yes
I guess the new version is not working if you don't have pet (i use the 0.5 version for now).
Maybe you can put a toggle Use/Not Use Pet ?!

New big update incoming!
Adding new features!
Selling resources at 1000
Change hangars (1 for boting, 2 for selling resources)
Improved lifecheck for reparing
Auto start if your ship was destroyed(in situ)
Release time: 5 Hours
New update released!
Still buggy and selling resources is not yet finished, but most of the new features are 100% working.

Then, untill you release your bot please shut up. I'm using his bot and it's working.
And about helping, is was referring to helping the community not him in person (i might not be understood always since english is not my first language).
P.S.: This is my last response to you since i don't want to start a flame war on his release.
