There arent Drone designs in Darkorbit Remix v2.0 Only in the clones and when you do a gate it gives you a design (35% Chance).

In darkorbit remix 2.0 you can switch drone designs by pressing the arrow keys. You will automatically be able to on first start, so no need to do gates first.
