why would it be illegal, since you haven't stolen anything from someone, you are just trying random numbers with your OWN program you coded by YOURSELF. His program at least

Soll ich screen vom programm machen oder was? Habe PSC-Manager gebastelt. Davon könnte ich nen video machen^^ Aber beim Scanner würde man nur sehen das er scannt und stundenlang warten und aufnehmen bis er ne PIN hat will ich net^^

So as long as you don't use or anyhow spread the PINs it may be legal, but when you use them it's 100% illegal. Because you're basically stealing other people money...
