Supershield in fight

I and several players in my clan have been fighting players who has some kind of shield in fight that we cant brake in to. They run a normal goliath-ship, so there is no teck involved. Tjeir hp and shield goes fast from full down to a critical level, and stop there. This shield last for a period of about 10 second, and cant be beaten of only one player. Even if we have 45 lf4 lvl 16 eatch, he wont go down. But if i fight this palyer a little bit later, he goes down like a noob. Anyone knows what they are using? Its not a ish, fight rep og any known DO tecks.

An example: me and a clanmember fighted him in pvp. We both have 45 lf4 lvl 16, about 650k shield and used pld8, ish, smb in fight together with hellstorm and rocket precission. He also went on my mines who gives him an dmg of 200k, and we fighted wery well. I also used the spectrumteck but it did'nt help me. We hit him with about 350k dmg eatch time, but his hp didt go below 40-50k. His shield was emty in a long time. This player is one of about 4-5 other players with the same mysterious shield

it`s an old bug, i`m not sure. but as i know, in the old client was a bug that got fixed in time. maybe with all these updates it`s back :P
