I ask if there are admin monitoring game 24 hours or only office hours?

If only office hours (8 AM to 5 PM), do they follow server time they work in?

This is good to know so that we can bot without fear when admins are not online.

I know there is an anti-bot system working 24/7. The people who make the bots make updates when DO does updates. So they are able to somehow escape detection. I did not ask about that.

I asked about the admin who are actually in the game maps. They are different from the ban scripts.

An admin was targeting me three times in one server. Boxybot can detect when admin targets you. So i want to bot when there are no admins on the maps. Maybe that will help you understand, eh? That is why I want to know schedule of work of admin. meh.. for the question, please see first post.

Admins dont have much time in game because of their duty on support - "the rain of emails".
Bot detecting script runs on the servers globally at Monday 05:46 a.m. after the server restart. - not 7/24 as they mostly say.
Apart from scanning for bot, the script looks into the user logs as well for non-alive players at that time for their history of being online for a continous time period with some conditions.
Conditions met for recognizing as a bot from the user logs is a complete mystery.
Thats all i know from my chat with some admin.

An admin has been "harassing" my bot three times today. I guess the admin was trying to prove I was a bot, but the account is not banned yet. But you are correct in saying that admins are busy and don't have much time in game. BUT, there are instances where admins come out in force on the game maps, just like this ban wave now. So i want to avoid that. At any rate, no still answered my question. What is the schedule of the admin? Do they work 8 AM to 5 PM, or there is shifting for a full 24 hours? If they only work office hours, do they follow the server time they work with. PLEASE I AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE. I JUST WANT TO KNOW ADMIN WORKING HOURS AND DO THEY FOLLOW THEIR LOCAL SERVER TIME >.<

In my server, I guess there are no shift hours for Admins. (Except Chat CMS and Admins)
They are there in duty, whenever they want to do.
Support mails go in their mail boxes in order of ticket number, one after to another.
Also they are not paid workers, they just recieve Uridium as a reward for their duty. So its somekind of a volunteer situation.
Last time i chatted with an admin, was after the launch of the Kronos gate, and how much money some people pay for the game that he said i wouldnt believe it.
Tomorrow i will ask for the shift or schedules. Hope that will help.

Murat, thank you very much for answering my question. If the admins are also players, then you may be correct. There is no set time. They are online when they are online. Which means it could be anytime. I doubt that they have schedules because they are working from home. I suppose if DO is paying them uridium, they are probably asked to be online as admin a certain number of hours. If there is a schedule, that would be great. Like I said, there is nothing we can do about the ban scripts. We cannot avoid it. The band scripts are the bot developers' problem. What we can avoid, what we can do, is avoid botting when the admin is not present in the map, when the admin will try to hunt botters and ban botters. This is just for one less chance of getting banned.

i think only CMs and mods on the forum are volunteers but the Admins are not just volunteers but are closer to the game management.

Uhh not true..

The antibot scripts got only putten on A ACCOUNT ONCE they think u were using a bot.. since the script is putten on, they'll read every log, anything else to find any suspicious fault by an bot to get u caught.. not 24/7 ...

If u would know HOW MUCH it BP will cost to run a 24/7 script on 72 million players.. and then don't even complained about the privacy law ..
