well any computer with a normal ammount of ram (2+gb) can run darkorbit pretty well, since it is just a browser game. of course having something like dedicated graphics is good too. i had no problem playing darkorbit with a 2006 school computer, or any laptop of mid-price (400-600 bucks), or the gaming pc i built this month (
). the most important thing to run darkorbit without problems is internet.
but then again, having more on your computer is also better.
recommended specs for darkorbit and couple mainstream f2p games:
a quad core cpu (aim for intel because they have better single core performance compared to amd chips)
4 or 8 gigs of ram depending on your available budget
a dedicated nvidia or amd graphics card. i advise using most of your remaining budget here, in order to play more games rather than darkorbit.
in case you are building a pc you will also need a motherboard that fits everything, a good secure psu, and a case to round it off.
