I'd say selling is quite safe if you use the paysafecard right away/get money via gift when trading with paypal/trading via treasure with egold.
But buying accounts is a whole another story, if you buy it from idiot that is trying to scamm, he can make the process very annoying. Email bug is working nowdays forever, and because the new UI came out, you can basically send a new email bug in 2 seconds. Best move is to make a email bug "ready" in your email and put the account on your bigpoint portal asap when you have the acc. In worst case, you can just sell all the equipment from the acc But yeah, buy only from people that are trusted or seems like legit<----but overall, it is quite risky to buy account
