There should be no reason to disable dep in xp. Are you set up a a separat user?

Try this in this order.
Open your wp folder and make any changes to files in your custom folder save and close edited files. Remember to save.
Do not start wp at all. If you have shut down pc not restart but shut down. Clear all cache and browser junk.
Now after pc start and all is loaded. Start-> Chrome-> Go to Dark Orbit log on page. Do not log in yet only load page that has the username and password form-> Start wp-> then log in "Do not change to any other tab in back page. Go through DO's worthless ad's and such. Then start space map by clicking start on back page. After logged in you can move about on your back page. One all is running with you can even close out of your space map make changes and log back in. Chrome is very tricky to use. I would suggest firefox it is more user friendly. Hope this helps.

codes have changed script should auto detect your ship just fine. As for the ship codes if you need them message me I have a pretty good updated list.
As for drones and such since do added new designs and such that has changed. However you know this script is client side and is visual. Hope this helps.

I have told you what to do many times myself. If you are using windows 64 bit operating system it does not seem to work. Otherwise read the multiple how to posts and my posts. If you can not understand this all maybe you should not use it.

@small edit from me: if you are shooting something, PET will automatically set on GuardMod.

lol i had NO luck with this method either.. i dont want to give up on being able to use chrome for WP but it is looking that way.. thanks for your input i really do appreciate it and they work u guys do on WP. im going to post the steps i did to try to get it to work and if anyone sees what im doing wrong please let me know

1. clear ALL cache from chrome
2. SHUT DOWN PC
3. open chrome and go to darkorbit.com
4. open wp
5. login to DO
6. START game (without clicking anything,besides closing daily bonus)
7. try all in 1 v2 by clicking on alien... no hp + shields show up.

i would try using vacuum too but i figure if 1 doesnt work than none will work lol

i was also wondering if there is a proxy setting i need to adjust in WP and/or chrome. do i need to downgrade chrome since it is up to date?

Been working on the 64 bit but not sure how to get that done. Unless you try run wp in windows compatibility mode.

did you download any of the preconfigured assemblies? If you did not please try that. You also have to have the configuration files in the custom folder. If all else fails maybe I can remote into your machine and try to set up for you. But if you are using windows 64 bit operationg system it will not work or at least I have not found a way to make it work

At this point it has me puzzled. This is one reason for my insistence on not going to a 64 bit OS. Many programs will not run on this platform.
Try running it in 32 bit compatibility mode. Otherwise when I get the chance to load 64 bit in a virtual machine for testing I will. But this is not a priority for me. My plate is full enough right now.
