Save your time, money, and effort my friend. The playtest is closing in like 72h, and as a consistent player myself, you can get 1k+ gold in a single high roller lobby.
You basically want to be a ranger, and throw off all of your clothes except for boots. You want maximum movement speed. You move faster than any character in the game, including fighter with their speed buff. Because of this, as long as you have awareness, you can stay alive for very long times and also just rat the edges of high roller for good gear drops.
When selling your gear, you want to sell items that have good stats in the trader market.
For example, i found a purple dagger for rogue last night with plus physical damage and plus strength. Sold for 400g on its own because the extra stats match the reason for the weapon (physical damage buff on a physical weapon).
Keep this stuff in mind and enjoy yourself brother. 1k gold isn't worth your 15$, and you'll have a better experience since it closes and wipes in a few days
