Ich habe mich dazu entschlossen einen News Thread für die Crossfire Section zu eröffnen, da ich schon sowas in den anderen Section gesehn habe und der Meinung bin da wir sowas auch gut gebrauchen können (Natürlich mit _strYker einverständniss). Ich werde den News Thread immer aktuell halten da ich jeden Tag im z8games Forum bin und selbst natürlich aktiv Crossfire spiele.

Ich werde nur News posten die das Spiel betreffen, nicht z8games etc.!

Holiday GM Game Hunt! [18.12.10 - 22.12.10]

From the 18th to the 22nd of December you can find our GM's in game. Play with them and beat them to win prizes!

The GMs will be hosting GM vs the world games all day during the event times. They will be playing on random servers, creating random games at random times.

Rules Breakdown:
The Name of the Game created will always be XMAS vs GM Clan.

Games will be played from December 18th - December 22nd. The first 3 days the games will be played during the day. The last 2 days the games will be played in the evening.

Once the game is created the GMs will wait for a full opposing team before starting the game.

All players who play in the game from start to finish will receive 3 Bonus Holiday GP Crates!

If the team beats the GMs then the winning players will receive 10 Bonus Holiday GP Crates and an exclusive 7 day Snow-Man Spray!


The Games Modes:
Ghost Mode
Team Deathmatch
Search and Destroy
Elimination
Escape


Game Servers:
Games will be created randomly on any server. Including the Clan Server.


Conduct Rules:
You Must keep your chat clean.
No Hacking will be tolerated (hackers will be banned as usual)
You must be in the game at the start and the end in order to qualify for a prize.
If you disconnect before the time ends you will not be eligible for a prize.
Players who join more than one game will be asked to leave. You cannot win more than once. (lets spread the holiday love around!)



Game Days:
The event will take place on Dec 18th to the 20th.


Prize Breakdown:
Players who participate will receive 3 Christmas GP Crates.
Players who are successful in defeating the GMs will receive 10 Christmas GP Crates.

Prizes will be awarded on Christmas Eve (December 24th).


How to Spot a GM:
For This holiday event. Games will be called GM Holiday Hunt.
You can recognize the GM if they have the GM Clan Tag.
The GM Clan Profile is located here. No other persons in game will be able to award you prizes.

New Game Feature
The game camera will now center on whoever killed you in game. The Camera focuses on your killer and a "Killer" tag is displayed above their head to easily identify them.
"Random Map" option has been added for those hosting a game room. Once you make the map and pick the mode just go to the end of the map list to see the new "Random Map" option for that mode.


Note that all Christmas Items are here only for a limited time so get them now.

You need more than just good aim to get that perfect Golden Headshot in Cross Fire. You need to have a steady hand, be cool under pressure and of course having a silenced M4A1 doesn't hurt either!

Sometimes a little artistry and finesse makes that shot that much better.

And with that in mind Z8Games wants to test your artistic talent with a coloring contest!

We want to see what you can do with a blank template of an M4A1-Adv. How would you make it look? Would you drop down an urban camouflage to hide in the city's of Downtown. Or would you throw dragons and faeries on it so you could stalk your prey in Never-Never Land!?

There's no limits to the imagination so get out there and start Coloring.

Oh and just to give you a little more incentive, we'll be selecting the cream of the crop in two categories to award M4A1-Adv weapons to the winning accounts.

Submit your entries between now (Jan 17) and Monday Jan 24th. Prizes will be handed out shortly after the winners are chosen.

Sign the image with your In Game Character name.

Vom 28. bis 30. Januar messt euch mit euren Goldenen Waffen, und spielt gegen andere Golden Gunners im Golden Gunner Tunier! Wenn ihr eine Goldene Waffe habt dann beeilt euch und meldet euch an!

Regeln:

• Der Name des Spiel wird immer "The Top Golden Pros-2" sein.
  
• Die Anmeldung für das Tunier geht vom 21. - 23. Januar.
  
• Ihr müsst mindestens eine eigene Goldene Waffen besitzen (Golden M4A1, AK Golden, Golden D.E oder Golden RPK) um an dem Tunier teilzunehmen.
  
• Die Spiele finden vom 28. - 30. Januar statt.
  
• Sobald das Spiel zweier GM's erstellt wird (Man spielt jedes Team 1x) werden sie auf die Spieler warten.
  
• Ihr könnt nur Goldene Waffen und eine AWM zum spielen benutzen.
  
• Alle Spieler die von Anfang an dabei sind, kriegen eine Belohnung!

From Jan 28th to 30th Compete with your Golden Guns to decide who's the best in the Golden Gun Season 2 Tournament! If you own at least one golden gun, then hurry up to sign up to participate!

Rules Breakdown

The Name of the Game created will always be The Top Golden Pros-2.

Signups for the Tournament are from January 21st to January 23rd.

You must own at least one Golden Gun (Golden M4A1, Golden AK, Golden D.E and Golden RPK) to be qualified for the match.

Matches will take place from January 28th to January 30th.

Once the game is created two GMs (one plays the Global Risk and the other for BL) will wait for their team members before starting the game.

You can only equip the Golden Guns and the AWM in game.

All players who play in the game from start to finish are qualified for the rewards.

There will be one Super ACE (with the most kills and least deaths) selected from the ACEs for each day for the rewards of 6 random ZP Crates.

Crossfire und Z8games sind glücklich darüber, die Crossfire Film Awards 2011 zu präsentieren!Die besten Filme werden von einer ausgewählten Jury zu den besten unter den besten gewählt.

Ihr habt bist zum 20. Februar 2011 um euer Video zu veröffentlichen. Nur 2 Videos sind pro Account erlaubt. Wie auch immer ihr Videos austauscht, sie sollten verschieden oder besser sein.

Es gibt strikte Regeln, bitte achtet darauf, dass ihr sie befolgt. Regelverstöße werden mit einer Disqualifikation geahnded.

Cross Fire and Z8Games are proud to present the 2011 Cross Fire Film Awards! The best of Cross Fire films will be judged by our esteemed panel and awards will be given out to the best of the best.

You will have from now until Feb 20th, 2011 to . Only 2 videos will be allowed per account. However you can swap videos out should you have a different or better movie later.

There are strict rules to submissions so please make sure to follow them when you are making your movies. Failure to follow the rules will result in your entry being disqualified.

Failure to follow these 3 first rules will result in immediate DQ of your videos. The reason why we have these rules are to stop other accounts from posting youtube videos. If your In Game Name is in the credits for the video then that is where the award goes. So if someone else posts the same video then we'll be able to see it, and it won't matter who posted it because the NAME in the video is the one that matters.

• Your video must contain the words "Cross Fire Film Awards 2011" somewhere in a credit sequence at the start or end of the film.
• Your video must contain your CF In-Game Name spelt exactly how it is in game in a credit sequence at the start or end of the film.
• Your video must be between 2 and 6 minutes long.

After Feb 21st there will be a week long grace period to sort and judge submissions. Judging of the movies will be done by our Panel of Esteemed players and GMs. Once the judging is done awards will be handed out on March 4th during a Live Award Ceremony on our Community Forums.

Neof - Considered by the community as one of the best Film Makers. Co-Creator of the event and judge of all things amazing, Neof is our expert player judge for these movies.

for either In-Game Footage or Replay Footage and be judged in one of the 6 categories. Best Film, Best Editing, Most Creative, Best "Killer" Content, Best Regular Mode Film, Best Mutation Mode Film.

Prizes for winning a CFFA 2011, are:

Throughout the Month we will be posting and update list of submitted entries for our Community to view and have your say about the movies. Winners will also be featured on our Cross Fire Youtube Page.

Rule Addendum
The following rule additions are considered official.

1. Content from other games such as CSS is not permitted. While there will be some leeway given to things like sounds, or outside "special effects" (like fire or explosions etc.), our game is Cross Fire, and the point of these films is to make something using Cross Fire footage (replay or in game).

2. Only the first credited account can win the M4A1 Tiger. We love that people want to work together to make these movies, but it is very difficult to prove abuse cases for this. So we can only give ONE M4A1 Tiger per winning movie. And it will be the first IGN credited in the movie.
