I’m curious if anyone has noticed a real impact from CS2 commends on trust factor, matchmaking quality, or overall profile reputation.
Valve never explains how trust factor works, but some people believe that having more positive profile signals (like commends) might have a soft effect.
So I’m running a small community test where players can get 20 free CS2 commends and report back if they notice any changes.
What I’m testing:
Does having more commends change lobby quality?
Does it affect how often you meet obvious cheaters?
Does it make your profile look more legit to others?
How to participate (free):
Use a test tool to send 20 CS2 commends to your profile
Play normally for a few days
Share your experience in this thread
No Steam login, no password sharing — you only use your public profile link.
I’m not claiming this will boost trust factor or rank — I just want real player feedback.
If you’re interested in testing, you can find the tool here:
cs2commends.com

Would be cool if people could post:
Before/after experiences
Lobby quality
Any changes you noticed (or not)
This could help clear up a lot of myths around trust factor.
