Question about FACEIT ban and starting over after 2 years

Hi,

I received a cheating ban on FACEIT over 2 years ago (May 15, 2023). I know FACEIT bans for cheating usually last a minimum of 2 years, and I'm not expecting my old account to be unbanned.

I have a few questions:

Is it allowed to create a new FACEIT account after more than 2 years?

Do I need to also create a brand new Steam account to avoid ban evasion detection?

Has anyone here successfully returned to FACEIT after a cheating ban without getting banned again?

I just want to play clean now and avoid any automatic ban for ban evasion.

You need a new steam accoun and you should contact support and ask them about that, to avoid any issue

I asked them and i got replay like this all time:
Your ban will remain active for two years and cannot be removed.


If you do/did not evade the ban during this period, you may create a new account once the time has passed. Please be aware that bans are not always immediate; actions taken while the Anti-Cheat was active, even in the past, can still lead to a delayed ban.


Keep in mind that if you have used cheats on your PC, and they modified your operating system or remained active without a restart, they may have been detected even if you were not actively cheating at the time. In such cases, the ban remains in effect, as you are responsible for the integrity of your system.

Hi i'm still playing on new account and i didn't recived any ban i play on same PC and all same gear

Cheat bans on faceit don’t expire. Making a new account is still evasion and often ends in another ban

just wait for 2 years and never cheat again to avoid extending the duration of the ban.

you have to use new account new everything.

a windows reinstall would be nice incase you still have traces of cheats left in your PC. usually not, but if you want a really fresh start , I recommend you do that

What are u saying it's non snens. I'm playing on new acc, same pc, no reinstall and still no ban

Yup. You should be ok if you created a fresh acc after the ban duration ended

If it’s been two years, the safest path is to respect the platform rules and start clean. Ban evasion only makes things worse.

did you have to deactivate your account after your ban ended and wait for 6 months or did you just create a new faceit and steam account and went to play?

And how is everything going right now? Are you still able to play or did you get banned?
