ANYWAY, I am resuming the development of my emulator which is coded in C++. I am curious as to whether anyone is interested in lending a hand in the gathering of information required to build it. Soon it will be a private server network of multiple servers but our team is small and consists of only 2 coders. Coders we are not looking for but pretty much anything else is needed. Public releasing of the server files is being debated within the team but right now they are being released.
It may not be the most advanced emulator out there but it is the smoothest running and lagfree(iest?) in terms of execution. We're working fast to catch up to the other files floating around and I think we're making good ground on it.
The end goal:
We hope as we near completion on mirroring TQ's files (for the most part) that we can invite other server admins to join our network under our files. Basically we will host your server running our files and you will manage it with the ability to custom manage just about every aspect of it from leveling speed to npcs to what's sold in shops to just about anything.
If, at any point, TQ tries to give us trouble and we are unable to continue doing what we're doing we will release in full all of our sources to everything we make.
If anyone is interested in more information you can inquire via the thread, pm, msn, whatever. ;D
Our flagship server will be a 99% TQ mirror in regards to functionality while ditching their view on players and management models. We will have active GMs that do not abuse and take care of the players and active admins that know what they are doing and have experience running game servers and in administration. Our team is elite with more than 21 combined years of server administration experience with MMO servers. This is not something we're taking lightly and we plan to make it the best out there; even better than TQ.
Thank you for lending your ears (eyes).
