Ok you probably want to know what my idea is and want me to of just made it work but I'm a noob at programming so I can't. I don't think this has been mentioned before but I may of missed it in my searches so forgive me if its been posted.
Now everyone knows by now that editing the itemtype.dat file will allow you to see if and item is Unique-Super and Low-High normals.
Now if CO has a way for the item to have elite in front of the name of the item in your inventory and not on the ground then their must also be away to make that same effect to happen on the ground right? If we are able to do that then it should help allow to possibly see +1s and socs on the ground as well. If so it could finish the argument between if either +1's are random or not.
I'm not exactly sure how you would do this but their must be code for the quality of items in you inventory somewhere so u must be able to use that also for on the ground.
If somebody could look into this it may save people from having to edit many lines of the itemtype.dat file and save valuable time. Maybe even make hunting easier if +1's show on the ground.
