Patch 4349 Opening Up Internet

Yes, re-installing patch 4349, effectively, does nothing. This is because patch 4349 does not contain a conquer.exe, patch 4347 is the one with the exe so reinstall this then dont auto patch, but install patch 4348, and 4349, if they are not on the website, google "patch 4347/8/9" and download it from filefront.

If your too lazy to do that,
extract the contents of that into your conquer folder(with co closed first) and sv 1.10 will work

Same thing happened to me. I have 2 CO folders, one with 4351 and one with 4349. Using the 4349 install, SV 1.10 worked before this past maintenance. Nothing changed (that I know of), no patch/update, etc. And of course I'm getting that damned annoying popup.

Edit: I cracked it by the hex edit method. For those of you that still have a working SV 1.10, did you do it a different way?

works for me, thanks!! but the todays patch has different conquer exe cant make the multi window. can you help me on this?

Just do wat it says on Bot section, download patch 4332-4348 then patch ur client to 4348, patch to 4349 and change client to multiclient and done

about webpage, just block page with ur anti-virus, on block section type the web page adress, that is of course for certain anti-viruses
we just gotta wait for a SV that works for 4350 to come out

This "fix" makes no difference. Trying to do this actually is the long way around a much simpler fix - re applying patch 4349 which I have done.

as far as i know you can't block url popups with windows firewall it is the most basic of firewalls that only blocks "some" udp and tcp incoming/outgoing information..Ya might wanna get a better firewall then that lol windows firewall in all honesty blocks NOTHING it;s garbage...And blockin the webpage does nothing ya need to prevent co from running the command it at all...Like my firewall ( kaspersky ) when i load co i get this msg

Conquer.exe is Attempting to run browser with command line parameters: "http://www.conqueronline.com/downloads/Patch4350.htm"

And asks if i want to allow it or deny it of course i put it on perm deny heh so my co just loads now without it.

I updated my conquer this morning downloaded A1blasters's Multi but SV 1.10 is still not working. Which multi&#092;conquer client did you use to get it working or do you have the stuff that I need to Hexedit?
Any help would be great.

Well your fix appears to be working, thanks. I recommend you make a new topic for this to get the word around faster.

Its strange though, I didn't patch, or do anything to the client, it just stopped working. I tried patching down and up again as you suggested but that did not help. I tried using the multi client included with your bot, but again to no avail. But strangely what you have supplied seems to have fixed the link, and I see its the same multiclient I was trying to use. Very, very strange.
