VioletGem in boots?

I've been thinking about this for afew hours now... this tao had 1soc boots... and he put a rvg in it! Why would someone have that gem in those boots?

This one tro I knew put a SPG in his boot or ring... one of them... for the effect... but the violetgem's effect sucks!

Well, violet gems help for proficiency. But it seems kinda weird for a tao to have them. Well..unless it's rb and it's going melee or something.

- RVG does not produce any graphical effects
- RVG is used to level melee two-handers for the taoist for faster leveling
- The trojan had SPG in it because s/he bought the boots which already had that gem in it, and didn't remove it and replace it yet

It was using a wand... I guess it is going melee... but why the boots and not the wand?

wait.... if he put it in the boots, then he could lvl all his weapons faster not just the wand right?

I guess that explains it...
