Some chars are born lucky

I think that char's are 'born' with some kind of lucky factor. My friend has a water tao, its like 87+, and he makes all his sockets with it. He can make one easily in 40 metz. I don't know how he does is, but he always gets sockets on that char, and not on any other char.

TQ has some luck type of thing for EO. CO and EO are basically identical, so your theory might be right; maybe TQ has the luck system hidden in CO.. while in EO you can see it. o.o

Well yeah, if you think about it in lotto, the 2rb full duper always gets better s*** then a non rb lvl 70 with normal equips, the luck depends on tq's greedieness, they want u to buy db's TheEnd

i found 8 dbs with my troj and 0 with my archer
i have found 5+ supers with archer and only 1 or 2 with tro
i found more mets while lvling my archer from 70 - 97 then lvling my troj from 70-122
i made 2 sockets with my troj and it always failed with archer

some charas are just born with more luck in some categories then others...

I do believe theres some kinda luck system on CO

No matter who you are, when you play, you try to find a certain system (time, place where you got lucky) to follow.

If you get a Db at one place you tend to go back there
I think there is some kinda luck system.

For me, being an archer, i found i got lucky when i didnt plvl or hunt or kill monsters for a while (say a week or two), id just stay in TG to lvl.

I once got 2 dbs the same night after not playing CO (well only staying in TG ) for like 1 month.

I reckon its just luck as it would work in real life; for example on my first character (a trojan) i had found a DB and 2 elite ring by lvl 50 but after that Ive had mostly rotten luck...thus i believe luck in game is the efect of REAL LIFE LUCK being immplemented onto the game

Id say my friend on my server was lucky as hell. He finds DBs constantly, he made 2s ring first met, found a robe during haloween event on the 4thish pumpkin, its messed =\

I say:
drops are not random because otherwise u would be able to get 2 db or 2 elite/ super in a row and as far as i know it never happened.

there is a luck value, otherwise you would not be able to increase your luck with luckytime...

but forget about "lucky char", someone said once: a lucky person is just and unlucky person who has luck...

It can be noted that most online rpg games do have luck values for each character that are not shown to the player, frankly I would be surprised if Conquer Online did not have a luck value. The question is though, how is it set, how is it modified, and when can it change.

One thing I have noticed with my archer, is if I paypal a 5db pack onto him, He seems to be a lot luckier for a few days, then he would be without any paypal action.

Another theory to note, is drop times for items. Two years ago back when I played on Lion server, I went to giant apes one night, and got an elite dex ring. No big deal right? Well, around the same time the next day I happened to be at giant apes again, and poof, an elite dex ring. A lightbulb went off in my head, and I recorded the time at which I found it, and started going back for it. And roughly 80% of the time I went for it, I got it. the other 20% I dismissed due to other people being at giant apes.

I've wanted to try this with db finds, but so far no luck, as all my db finds so far I have been afk, sleeping and botting, so I don't know the exact time when I've found them. But I've heard talk of db droptimes before. Some people say droptimes are mapwide, some say serverwide.

But these are merely unproven theroies, built from expirience of playing the game.

ive found one char of mine that seems to be VERY Lucky at lvl 1 just hunting at pheasants i found 2 normal moons and a normal rain, later around 30 i found 6 mets in 8 kills at toumbats (mind you it took forever to get those 8 kills) lol

also my friend bought a lvl 130 archer from one of the top players in the game (who undoubtedly bought MANY bulk packs of dbs on that char) had really good luck at the lottery, from 2 dbs he got elite soc tao hat, +4 stone, elite soc tao coat, a db ,and +8 boots. so i agree that buying dbs is a way that tq assigns luck

I dont believe this tru but could b wrong but ive bought 40dbs once online w/my tro and still never found **** or got **** in lotto. over past 7months have bought prob 40+ codes and i still dont find jack or get lucky in makin soc. never made one b4 :S.

i dont think it has to do w/ip lucky, only reason i dont believe that is b/c my friend had a fire tao that was reli lucky in tc. it made socs all the time. later she quit and sold the account and she made a new char. she no longer makes socs any more. as to the person who bought her char dunno if she has same luck w/that char :S.

just stuff ive noticed dunno wut reli contributes to luck ><

I think this theory is true...i made a complete noob (lvl 1) and he killed pheas and got 1000000000 skill books. made another one and he got the regular ****.

The server never decides waht you get. And each character doesnt have more or less luck. Tho your luck increases or decreses at any time. You may have good luck or bad luck every second, minute, hour, etc... Theories might be everytime you login your luck changes. Or everytime you have a certain amount of kills you have better luck. I dont think so, i think its a series of codes that is sequenced to each character through IP. But i have a good idea that maybe if your IP is a low or high number you would get rather high or low luck. Or maybe a probability on how long you have been playing on the game. Which could possible be it. Lol this is alot i typed here so i hope this probably helps.
