Actually it is, well, possible. Kind of the same theory as making your own IM client. Wait a little while and I"m sure someone will come out with this if you spread the idea more.

I was wondering if someone could make it so when a GM whispers me I would auto-disconnect / perfect world tab in my task bar would flash yellow / Make a program for me to view my whispers when not in game. This would be a great help to me as I wouldn't have to "babysit" my char so much when botting :)

So if someone spoke directly to you, the alerter would be searching for your name in the chat log, and when a message is adressed to your name, it will reply on friend chat or whisper as an automessage like "afk in market"
