Warning item with keyloger

I think I found a keyl;oger in 1 of the last 3 programs I downloaded I aint sure woich 1 so ill post all 3

Quite a lot of work for me. Even funnier, is you have no idea how you got the keylogger. Oh well, guess this goes to show a couple things.
1) Online virus scanners can't always be trusted.
2) Though most of the time they do, cheater's SOMETIMES don't prosper.

Let this be a message to any "epvp'er" reading... There are those like myself that will take vengeance for you ruining what used to be a wonderful game. Half of these items have already been NPC'd, and in this way they can never be recovered, by yourself or by GMs. I don't do this to further my own character's ability, I don't even have characters on any but 1 server. This is, has been, and strictly will be my own form of revenge.

The co2m8 and minimap threads are both pinned in the Exploits Hacks & Tools section. Pinned = mod approved = not always safe.

I don't know about the other two... I don't use them and cba to read the threads atm. However, outside of those 2 threads that I haven't read, this is the first complaint I've seen. IMHO it's far more likely that you either got a keylogger from a contact over messenger or email.

Edit: That ***** CODeath7 posted while I was typing and now it's clear what happened. He keylogged you because he's bitter about something. Most likely that he sucks at pvp or making money or whatever. What a loser...omg.

This doesn't mean anything mods have pinned dirty files all the time then later found out and removed just because a mod says something is safe doesn't mean it is infact the only mod i know here that has any developer experience is choco and coder62 if he is a mod still i can't remember but as far as i know the rest are just forum control mods appointed by lowfyr that edit posts/delete and try and clean up the forums to make it easier to navigate and run the same online scanners everyone else does and assume things are safe.Any knowledgeable programmer can make a keylogger or virus that passes anti scans especially any hack that asks to access the net i would be very careful about running period without first decompiling it and reading what is actually in it and what exactly it might do "other" then what it's intended to do.

Look at the proxy perfect example nearly everyone of them posted here have been pinned at some point by mods and later were found to have hidden keyloggers and no anti detected any of them.

example #2 fixed cotobo scams people took working cotobo and used impect to attach hidden exe to regular exe and infect it and many people were hacked that run it then came here and whined about it.

It is very easy to do lol take a keylogger/trojan/virus compile it+pack it+scramble it and if that doesn't work ( cus of some very good antis like kaspersky ) ya might even have to modify the PE header to bypass but anyone can do it that knows what there doing.

Don't be so gullible and think everything pinned is clean.

@ master my bet would be on the co2m8 if it is the program i think it is that is like a co2 account manager ect ??

My bet would be on the CO Account Manager for COTOBO!, Version 0.94b released by H3LLM00T. Plus if you look at post #24 made by Rorrim, she found rootkit in it. But nobody followed up on it. They just took posters word that it wasn't a logger.

Bacause joek has spent to much time updating and tweeking CO2hud & CO2swap aka CO2m8.

Also by the CODeath7 name, don't forget that CODeath posted QOPROXY with keylogger. Thats why it was deleted.
