Are sockets worth buying?

in the past, i have tried using 2 dbs worth of lottery entrance and recieved:

+1 stones, xp pots/*****, money bags

Never made even 1/2 of the price of the dbs...

so yeah... lottery has left me bad memories...

However

even though i did make a sock with 7 met scrolls... along time ago, i used 12 and made no sock...

i have confidence in my socking... i have 2nd rb friends willing to pray while i spam...

and also with the new lotto and stuff the super gems prices have fallen dramaticaly.. i`m 124 archer and all i farm i sell.. only worth going for srg..
also the soc item from the promotion is worth almost nothing, so this new patch kinda reduced alot the fun of being an archer.. u can still make a living out of selling chars, but then risk on bulk buyers to get too much strong accounts..
i think when tq is finished with the new implement it`s gonna be pretty good, but they eighter come back to the system of buying db`s from npc with 5kk or they make an npc that excange silver to cp`s..
kinda sux for us workoholiks and no db buyers, but i trust they will make it almost equal.

and about making sockets. now it`s better to sell / trade gems for sockets. As an archer you only do one task (rb-ing) instead of working all day for a few mets that might not even get you a socket.
Oh.. a good way to get rich now is hunting for mets and selling them, and i noticed alot of ppl got interested in rbing chars so another good idea of getting rich is hunting for clean water.. might take u a full day, but i usualy get 20kk after a day of hunting for CW.

trying to take the juice yourself? supergems dident decrease in price on our server.

It cost 4,5 DB to create a super drag/rain from marketnpc's, a DB now cost 15-20kk (so would cost 60-90kk to create it with CPs). Because mining sucks, and alot of ppl left conquer theres less supergems around (for sale). Sell the supergem at 4 db - 900 cp, that way you get more money compared to before patch, and same time the rich paypaller-dude save some of hes CPs on supergem (which you probably need)

How is ur socket experiment going? I´ve been saving mets and if ur lucky maybe ill spam them aswell

i've made 11 socs so far, and i've realized that they can be made at any time of the day.

my theory is that all socs are made around the double digit of each hour.

ex: XX:00, XX:11, XX:22 etc.

but i usualy make the socs a minute or two before the double digit, and a minute or two after. iu believe this happens because my clock is not in sync with tq's.

but this is just a theory, so don't flip out.

for so far i have seen the most common items you get from lottery are the + stones moneybags 4 and below ref gems meteor packs and the other ****... it's not like tq is so stupid to make soc even 2 soc items so common that the whole server is running around with them in no time... that would reduce dbs sales.... i believe the chances of you getting a soc item or dbs in lottery are as rare as going hunting getting db drop or spamming and getting soc items 2 soc items... just my 2 cents

OK so over past 2 weeks i spammed 1500 mets and got 7 socketed items using the same method i always used...traded 2 sockets for 42 dbs and upgraded the quality of my other 5 now i have full 1 soc archer and only took 2 weeks of playing and i didnt hunt 1 single time...not even for the mets...make you think about that one for a while.

Lottery is not worth it. Not with the current DB prices. If you want to + your gear: Sell your DBs.

It takes 100s of DBs to get a decent soc out of it. So it's cheaper to buy one.

no way is it worth goin for soc now unless ur spamming on sup items.....
think bout it if u get a norm lvl 20 soc ring ur F*cked... if u use market to up quality-12 Dbs(i think) which is 200m+... at that price just upping ur equip to super would cost u way to much to even be bothered making norm sockets... befor patch i made sock ring and i tried for anoter 160 mets nothing .... now on Ruby im trying to buy socs for my war and cant find any :? been lookin for days 2
