Ground Colors

is there any way to modify the colors of the ground texture files? maybe turn the sand blue?
The desert maps (both the DC map and the sandy part of MZ) hurt to look at for long, makes running quests and hunting difficult.

extract the files under /ani using the WDF extractor (search), get any dds convertor:

go to /data folder where the files were extracted, then convert the files from dds (direct draw surface) to psd files (photohop files), use photoshop (or GIMP) to convert the color of one of them to your liking, then use batches in photoshop so it can be done with all the files without u having to redo the coloring for each manually.
convert the files back from psd to dds and place in the original directory
