Wow man TQ is taking away the last challenging task in this game. I mean people should work hard for something as powerful as a socket non-weapon. I'm guessing that the diamonds you speak of are purchased with real money. ***, now theirs going to be rich immature little 11 years old running around fulled socketed and annoying the hell out of mature people who aren't rich and can't afford to pay for pixel in a free game. Making a socket for dummies

Step 1: Get alot of mets
Step 2: Spam those mets in the type of items you want a socket in
Step 3: Check the items you just spammed mets on for sockets
Step 4: If you had gotten a socket in step 2, congrats! If not, go to step 5
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 :x

It works, no bullshitting!

yup theres no magic socket trick but heres some things that could help :

-lucky time
-100+ mets
- LUCK ( important)

Go to Artisan in Twin City next to wharehouseman and upgrade the item you want to be socketed ( better chance if level 15-) USE 1 MET ...... Try with an new 15- item with 1 met .... And so on

Thats the method i use and i got 4 sockets in 2 months and Aprox 150 mets

Just get 200 mets, low lvl gear(try to spam with -3 and -5 if u have them)
Also, you can open a mb or an ancestor box to get a soc
Or you can kill a lab boss and hope to get lucky

you could try directly after maintenence, its not always accurate but people have gained sockets in the first 5 mets on the equipment, might not always work but you can really only do it on the friday maintenence from what ive seen. i could be wrong but luck and lucky time are a big factor aside from mets. with lucky time your garanteed a socket with 210 meteors and below.

just spamm mets and hope you get lucky, best is to spamm on a high lvl char or a reborn - 2nd reborn char
i always used to spamm 5 a char a day that worked 2 me very well

WRONG. I spammed about 300 mets during lucky time and nothing...in fact i've had more luck socketing when not on lucky time. I've wasted more mets during that stupid lucky time...imo its a sham.
