Would like a lil help on using Co Partner..

Well i always put the items i want my character to pick up on COpartner but when they drop it like meteors he doesnt pick it up >.<, i was wondering if someone could help me and tell me how its properly done ..i think ive tried everyway but cant seem to crack it i know it may be a noob question but thanks for help.

Put pick all -->(but make sure you choose walk instead of jump) or just leave it on Default

default will pick up all quality items , mets, gold, and dbs
pick up all...will pick everything except pots and drop the trash items
