plz help about font !

i copied co2 documents from my friendz pc n then i copied to my pc succes. when i runned play.exe co2 is using japanese/chinese fonts. my system is english but y font is japanese/chinese?
i changed "ini/StrRes" 10436 but the problem isnt fixed.. how can i fix it?

./Conquer 2.0/ini/fonts.ini

Open up, change whatever it says there to a desired font.

Example:

In mine it says:

"Èllá 14" -> Arial 12

Or something like that.

But im not sure that it is the fonts which are causing the problems..are you sure your friends copy isn't Chinese/Japanese?
